Business Development Specialist

Location: Boksburg or Edenvale

Compensation: R 25 000 to R 35 000 per month plus commission (dependent on industry knowledge and experience)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist with technical expertise in electronic security products or related fields to drive the expansion of our business development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Pursue new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships with clients;
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity;
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities;
Ensure effective communication and relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and other external partners;

Requirements:

Matric certificate;
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (advantageous);
At least 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales role within the electronic security or electrical or similar industries;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Proficiency in sales, business development, and client relationship management;
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking abilities;
Research and strategy acumen;
Fluency in English and Afrikaans;
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation;
