    Centre Manager Role at Excellerate JHI

    Main Objective:

    To effectively manage a centre by optimising all trading opportunities, including lease agreements, and ensuring sound financial performance. This involves establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with tenants, managing personnel, service contractors, repairs, revamps, tenant installations, inspections, and general building administration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Optimise the building's income stream through strategic relationship-building and negotiation.
    • Manage and control personnel, service contractors, repairs, revamps, tenant installations, and general building administration.
    • Maintain accurate records of expenses, repairs, and service contracts.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve centre profitability.
    • Cultivate strong working relationships with tenants, local community, and external stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • 3-5 years experience in property/centre management industry.
    • Minimum qualification grade 12.
    • A Business or property-related tertiary qualification recommended.
    • Retail experience essential.

    Skill Set:

    • Budgeting and Financial Management.
    • Business writing skills (specs & house rules).
    • People management skills.
    • IT literacy (MS Office suite, SAP).
    • Administration skills.
    • Driver's license.
