  • A client based in the West rand (Florida) is seeking a Fitter and Turner
    Requirements:
  • Technical understanding of equipment
- (Must have)

  • Qualified as a Fitter and Turner.
  • Knowledge and experience with Fitting techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • 2 to 3 years postapprentice experience.


  • Responsibilities:
  • Observe and understand mechanical drawings
  • Perform specialised operational technical plant and equipment duties related to the following: maintain, repair, construct, install, dismantle, in general fit and turn.
  • Perform diagnostic duties related to the following: test, inspect, troubleshoot, fault find, check, measure, record.
  • Record technical data on completion of work
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks in a safe manner
  • Must be able to function efficiently under pressure
  • Must possess practical skills to manufacture, and repair with pride and within micro tolerance.
  • Must have a technical understanding of equipment.

  • Knowledge and experience with Fitting techniques, tools and equipment. 2 to 3 years post apprentice experience.
  • Certificate in rigging would be advantageous.
