- Daily discussions with the Production Planning Manager to review work programmed for shifts
- Creation of job cards for all required work within a specified period
- Ensuring Shift Foremen understand their tasks, have necessary tools, and receive correct moulds according to specification
- Maintenance of up-to-date SAP entries
- Verification of documents issued for scheduled jobs
- Recording and reporting unresolved production difficulties to the Production Planning Manager
- Loading of shift and stock containers, accurate usage records for compound, and forwarding records to relevant departments
- Supervisory experience in production management
- Production planning and control experience (3-5 years)
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- N4 Mechanical or Drawings qualification
- Problem-solving skills and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices
- Quality control and assurance expertise
- Knowledge of trimming and finishing processes
- Supervisory and labour relations skills
- Disciplinary procedures knowledge and ability to read and interpret drawings
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PPT, and SAP
