    Job Title: Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist

    Job Description:

    The Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our Client's digital and social marketing efforts. This involves the implementation of relevant sales and brand building activities to drive sales and enhance brand awareness.

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional with a passion for new technologies and digital and social media. They will be responsible for crafting and implementing the company's integrated digital and social marketing operational plan to generate sales and build the client's brand.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement data-led brand building and leads generation plans based on the marketing strategy.
    2. Plan and execute digital and social media campaigns aligned to the overall marketing strategy and budget.
    3. Develop and implement effective content plans, including design and copy.
    4. Measure the success of campaigns and provide feedback and insights to develop improvements for future projects.
    5. Gain a deep understanding of digital and social media behavior of the target audience.
    6. Perform competitor analysis to inform the brand building and sales plan to stay ahead of competitors.
    7. Brief and manage agencies and service providers on the creative requirements.
    8. Manage day-to-day social media pages.
    9. Manage day-to-day sales campaigns.
    10. Stay up-to-date with new and upcoming digital consumer trends to identify innovative ideas and turn them into brand and sales initiatives.
    11. Foster relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cooperation.
    12. Stay current with professional, industry, and legislative knowledge.
    13. Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
    14. Contribute to a culture that builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback, and provides exceptional client service.

    Requirements:

    1. Solid business acumen and good stakeholder management.
    2. Lead change and innovation.
    3. Communicate and engage effectively and with impact.
    4. Strong influencing and persuading skills.
    5. Technology savvy with a strong understanding of the digital and social media landscape.
    6. Proven experience in implementing paid digital and social media campaigns.
    7. Project management skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
    8. Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    9. Creative initiative-taker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
    10. Results-driven, analytical, and self-motivated.
    11. Understanding of data protection in line with POPIA.
    12. Excellent understanding of PPR requirements.
    13. Good strategic and analytical skills.
    14. A positive can-do attitude.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    1. A relevant BCom Marketing degree from a reputable tertiary institution.
    2. Minimum 3 to 5 years' hands-on experience in digital and social media marketing.
    3. Experience in the Financial Services industry will be advantageous.
