Our clients E-commerce has grown exponentially over the last few years.

They are hyper focused on customer experience and this drives every decision, process and task.

They are looking for a dynamic Outbound Manager to join their team in the warehouse and on their farm.

You need to be quality focused and solution oriented with experience in processes, supply chain or logistics, ideally within an e-commerce environment.

This role suits a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment and who can easily adapt to changing market and organisational requirements.

You will need to manage a small to medium team of drivers and warehouse staff.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Oversee the outbound process of daily fulfilment operations
  • Route and shipping channel consolidation oversight
  • Planning/expediting of daily owndeliveries
  • Ensure timely dispatch of orders throughout all shipping channels
  • Ensure that outbound queries are resolved timeously
  • Manage delivery drivers
  • Delivery service management
  • Fleet management
  • Order return logistics
  • Monitor product quality and cold chain throughout the outbound process
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures

Technical Skills and Abilities

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification (eg. Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Project Management)
  • At least 3 years' experience in production / supplychain / logistics/ Ecommerce
  • People management experience
  • A passion to delight customers and give exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate targetoriented and performancedriven attitude
  • Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to adapt to and implement change effectively
  • High energy levels
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English, with exceptional writing and communication skills
  • A creative approach to daytoday challenges and a strong sense of ambition

Salary:
R25,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Franschhoek,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)


Education:


  • Bachelors (required)

Experience:

- production / supply-chain / logistics/ E-commerce: 1 year (required)
