Description
Delaire Graff Estate is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor that will be responsible for identifying problems and necessary maintenance, ensuring that all building systems, equipment and facilities are in working good condition.
This person must ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and be able to assigned tasks accordingly.Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance;
- Prepare daily, weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work;
- Supervise and train maintenance technicians;
- Supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.);
- Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.);
- Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance;
- Purchase and monitor inventory of materials and equipment;
- Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations);
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Main Requirements:
- Grade 1
- Preferably 4 years previous experience as a supervisor;
- Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.);
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations;
- Understanding of budgeting and performance management;
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent interpersonal
- Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments;
- Must be wellpresented & enthusiastic;
