    Job Overview

    The Technical Project Manager is responsible for delivering medium to large sized, high complexity projects that involve technical support.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Outputs:

    • Operationalization:
      • Execute and communicate the Deployment Plan for pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live tasks.
      • Arrange training for production teams to support the product/project after go-live.
      • Ensure resourcing availability for go-live monitoring and troubleshooting.
      • Engage and communicate with external stakeholders.
    • Process Improvement:
      • Evaluate processes continuously.
      • Assist in implementing, documenting, and communicating process improvement initiatives.
    • Initiation and Planning:
      • Develop an end-to-end project plan and a Project Management Plan, including plans for scope, communication, risk & issues, cost, and stakeholder management.
      • Define and agree on high-level scope, milestones, and initial risks early in the project.
      • Establish Project Governance and Systems for effective project management.
    • Coaching and Mentoring:
      • Mentor and coach other Technical/Project Managers or Project Coordinators.
      • Provide timely feedback and guidance to strengthen specific knowledge/skills areas.
    • Strategic Planning:
      • Work with Business Units to define and prioritize roadmaps.
      • Assist Business Units with Roadmaps as required.
      • Prioritize roadmap changes in collaboration with Business Units.
      • Keep roadmaps up to date after changes and communicate accordingly.
    • Environment Maintenance:
      • Handle environment reprovisions and take full responsibility for Environment Maintenance and configuration (if applicable).
      • Conduct installations (Games, Playcheck, and back office).
    • Project Closure:
      • Measure the delivery of project objectives and benefits, including Critical Success Factors.
      • Facilitate Lessons Learned sessions and collate feedback.
      • Prioritize improvements from Lessons Learned and ensure action owners are informed.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • MS Office and MS Project expertise
    • High level of responsibility and accountability
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks or projects
    • Strong stress tolerance
    • Understanding of business objectives and acumen
    • Environmental support and troubleshooting (if applicable)
    • Availability to work out of hours (depending on operational requirements)
    • Mentorship and/or coaching experience is an advantage
    • Strong technical background and working knowledge of software development
    • Experience in delivering medium to large sized, high complexity projects
    • 4-5 years of project management experience with 1 year of technical experience or 4-5 years of relevant experience in a software or IT environment and 1 year of project management experience
    • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Sound knowledge of software project management
    • Exposure to multiple PM Methodologies
    • Customer service experience
    • Good technical understanding of all platform interdependencies for your product
