Project Manager - Renovations & Fitout's
We are a medium sized construction company currently in search of a project manager who is able to manage multiple projects of a renovation and Fitout nature.
Qualification and Experience required:
ND/ B-Tech/ BSc in Construction Management and / or similar Minimum with 5 years proven experience gained in managing multiple small renovation/ Tenant Installation projects simultaneously
3 to 5 Years managing support staff, internal construction teams and sub-contractors
Valid Driver's licence and own transport
Computer literacy:
Proven skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with experience gained in MS Projects, CCS and Buildsmart
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft master project programme
- Issue micro programme fortnightly
- Manage all site teams (Foremen & Labour)
- Manage subcontractors
- Attend and represent the company at site meeting
- Approve orders and quotations
- Ensure sites comply with site
- Ensure sites are always presentable and clean
- To ensure all building work is carried out in accordance with industry regulation, bylaws and drawings issued.
- Monitoring and directing site progress
- Coordinate minuted subcontractor meetings
- Compile progress reports, RFI Schedules and present on a fortnightly basis
- Be responsible for the collation of a handover documentation file for operator / client.
- Report on drawing issues and discrepancies
- Report on quality of work executed on site
Ability to commute/relocate:

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
