    Purpose
    To oversee the overall financial and payroll accounting and ensure financial and statutory compliance.

    Responsibilities
    • Oversee financial accounts by ensuring accurate debtors, creditors and general ledger
    • Oversee the management reporting process
    • Oversee the compilation of Annual Financial statements
    • Act as liaison with external auditors
    • Responsible for payroll input (financial) and accounting
    • Deductions
    • UIF
    • IRP5s
    • WCA
    • Tax and other statutory compliance i.e. Income Tax, VAT, WCA
    Qualifications
    Diploma in Accounting or NQF equivalent

    Experience
    • 10 to 15 years experience in the use of accounting software and spreadsheets of which 5 plus years in a supervisory role.
    • Experience to handle a range of routine financial activities, such as payroll, billing, and support to accounting clerks and administrators.
    • Experience to handle large volumes of routine financial transactions in payroll and to generate/handle the documents associated with these transactions.
    • Experience in the preparation of documents for all Sars submissions and declarations, Pension fund documents, submissions and declarations.
    • Financial reporting to trial balance level.
