We have a terrific opportunity for a mid-senior Systems Manager/Traffic Manager to take the reins as the Key Retail Client Service Representative for a Retail Marketing studio in Modderfontein, Johannesburg.

This exciting role will see you Project Managing different aspects of the Retail Advertising workflow across multiple mediums (Print, TV, Radio, Digital, OOH, Creative) within a bespoke workflow system, RMS (Retail Management System).

The Systems Manager communicates with external stakeholders (Client's Marketing, Creative & Merch teams, Digital and Print agencies, Printers, Media Buyers, Content agency, and the agency's Software team) and leads the studio's Advertising Coordinator team to input, coordinate and manage client briefs through the RMS System and production process.

Responsibilities:

Must have a good understanding of the workflow systems within retail marketing as well as processes; always striving for better efficiency using technology
Understanding of the clients' timelines and requirements based on their Media and Production schedules
Is required to open all Marketing Campaigns and Jobs for RSA and Africa across multiple mediums in RMS, liaising with the client daily to source the information from multiple stakeholders
Ensure jobs are captured correctly within RMS in accordance with the workflow process and do all change management of these jobs and communicating the changes via RMS
Planning and scheduling and trafficking the output of jobs efficiently and effectively, through the workflow process, so that the team meet the required deadlines
Maintaining the highest quality standard using our proofing and quality control systems and processes
Client Service: MUST be committed to maintaining good customer relationships
Link and liaise with external (Traffic and Management) and internal stakeholders (Content Agency, Studio Manager and Production Manager)
Quality and accurate reporting using RMS data
Creating detailed status documents from RMS data exports
Coordinating and leading status meetings in person and via Teams or Zoom
Working closely with the production team to coordinate, plan and monitor the production schedules
Problemsolving: RMS and PageProof systems and writing detailed error reports for client
Supply feedback to improve workflow and system changes.

Requirements:

Tertiary education: Project Management, Digital Marketing, System Management preferable
5+ years in a retail marketing or retailer agency Traffic Management position
Advanced skills in Excel
Technical knowledge with the focus on retail systems: RMS, PageProof, SAP Hybris and Digital and Social Media platforms
Computer skills
Efficient in setting priorities, forward planning, achieving of goals and duties
