Vacancy:
Packing Supervisor
The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the packing operations and ensuring efficient and accurate packaging of products. This role involves supervising a team of packers, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining quality control standards.

The Packing Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager and collaborates with other departments to meet production goals and customer satisfaction.

Skills Required:

Ability to communicate clearly and give feedback
Computer Skills basic excel & word
Good selfmotivation, time management and personal target setting skills
Ability to Multitask under pressure
Ability to set and meet deadlines
A motivated selfstarter

SCOPE OF DUTIES:

Supervise and coordinate the packing operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure mínimal wastage on product and packaging
Ensure all orders assigned to packers is fully packed including any add on orders
Communicate any stock shortage, quality issues to Operation's Manager in conjunction with Buyer.
Ensure daily cleaning schedules are completed.
Ensure all stock is stored in its demarcated zone before shift ends
Ensure all packers record batch numbers on their packing sheets, for all products picked and processed, and that this is handed in at the end of every shift.
Ensure packers has labels on all products including herbs with correct expiry dates on
