INTRODUCTION
One of our international Automotive OEM Client is looking for a Motor Mechanic to join their team based in Kariega, Eastern Cape

Duties & Responsibilities

Servicing and repair vehicles
Doing all electrical repairs
Ensuring road safety through quality workmanship
Staying abreast of development by reading workshop bulletins and workshop manuals
Ensuring that workshop regulations and safety are adhering to
Maintaining a clean working area
Training allocated apprentices
Assisting with preparing vehicles for Press launches
Fitment of required accessories to our models
Ensuring that all work carried out in the workshop or by the appointed supplier is of the required quality

Desired Experience & Qualification

Have a minimum N3 Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
Trade Test Certificate Motor Mechanic
Valid Master Technician qualification at dealer level
Have 3 years' postqualification experience in an aftersales workshop environment
Computer literacy (Ms Office).
Require ODIS and ElsaPro knowledge.
Operational knowledge of Volkswagen Group diagnostic equipment (VAS/VCI)
Have a sound up to date knowledge of VW, Audi & Commercial products.
Be capable of working without supervision to high safety and quality standards.
Be flexible when required to work overtime at short notice.
Be in possession of an unendorsed driver's license (minimum old Code 08).
