A well-established electronic waste company seeks an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join their Sales team based in Johannesburg East.

• Cold calling.
• Negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospective clients and customers.
• Prepare monthly sales report.
• Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
• Visit existing and potential clients to evaluate needs or products and services.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimise the sales effort.
• Attend to client queries.
• Maintain client records.
• Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
• Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information.
• Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective customers.
• Issue a certificate of waste disposal to clients, post collection.

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Certificate in Marketing, Sales, Economics or related fields

• 12 years Sales and Marketing experience
• 12 years Telephone etiquette (Telemarketing)
• 12 years Waste industry experience (Advantegeous)

• Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
• Track record of successfully managing customer relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of CRM system
