Description

A well-known company within the finance space is looking for a financial accountant who knows how to prepare a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.

The role entails, reconciliations, journals and financial reporting. The ideal individual will report to the Finance Controller.

Qualification:

BCom Degree in Finance (Non-Negotiable)
35 years' experience in a similar role
Must be proficient in excel and computer literate
Willing to work overtime over busy periods
Strong experience with Xero***
Experience:
Preparing of journals
Reconcile accounts and prepare management accounts for multiple companies within the group
Journals
Income Statement & General Ledger Analysis
Vat Calculations and Reconciliations
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Balancing Intercompany loan accounts
Management Accounts
Ad Hoc Reporting
Cash Flow Management Daily
Checking Bank Reconciliations daily
Subscriptions account management and query resolving
Stock control
Fixed assets control
Load banking transactions
Transfers between accounts
Forex payments
3rd party payments
1st Release of all EFT payments and debit orders batches.
Double check and approve Debtors invoice and reconciliations.
Double check and approve Creditors Bills and reconciliations.

Audit Assistance

Prepare audit packs and liaise with auditors.
