Company based on the East Rand is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative - CAD/CAM Software & Metrology Equipment to join their team.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling CAD/CAM software and a wide range of manufacturing metrology equipment, including CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), 3D scanning devices, inspection arms, and various 3D printers such as FDM, SLA, SLS, and SLM printers.

You will engage with customers, demonstrate the capabilities of their products, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.


Qualifications and Skills:

Matric

Technical/Relevant qualification would be an advantage

Valid driver's license

Own reliable transport

Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in

CAD/CAM software and manufacturing metrology equipment.

Strong knowledge of

CAD/CAM software and various 3D printing technologies.
Familiarity with CMMs, 3D scanning devices, and inspection arms will be an added advantage.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented.

Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.


Roles and Responsibilities:


Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify potential customers and generate leads in the target market.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

Product Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our CAD/CAM software, CMMs, 3D scanning devices, inspection arms, and 3D printers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and competitor products.
  • Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of our products.

Customer Support and Relationship Management:

  • Provide postsales support to customers, including training, troubleshooting, and technical assistance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Establish longterm partnerships with customers and identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
