    Investec is looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Power Platform architect to own and drive the architecture of the Platform globally. You will need an extensive background in D365 / Power Platform implementations and a passion for sharing your expertise and driving architectural standards and best practices. The role will be required to ensure consistency, design solutions, integrate systems, optimise performance, enforces governance, drive best practice and foster collaboration.

    Experience, skill and capability

    Solution Design and Architecture:

    • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into D365 solution designs

    • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive solution architecture that aligns with the organisation's goals and standards

    • Ensuring consistency in solution design across multiple instances, considering regional and organisational requirements

    • Conducting feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate the suitability of proposed solutions

    • Providing guidance and recommendations on best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies

    System Integration and Customisation:

    • Designing integration solutions to connect D365 with other systems and applications in scalable and repeatable ways across instances

    • Collaborating with development teams to customise and extend D365 functionality to meet specific business needs

    • Ensuring consistency in customisation and configuration across instances, balancing regional requirements with standardisation

    • Conducting solution reviews and quality assurance activities to maintain solution integrity and adherence to architectural guidelines

    • Track vendor roadmaps and advise on / curate new features

    Governance and Compliance:

    • Defining and enforcing governance ,compliance policies and guardrails for D365 instances globally

    • Collaborating with security and compliance teams to ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements are met

    • Establishing and maintaining documentation, standards, and procedures related to D365 governance and compliance

    • Providing guidance and training to stakeholders on governance and compliance practices

    • Global coverage with regard to alignment, context sharing, waste reduction

    • Guide the organisation with regard to the appropriate usage of the platform

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Serving as a central point of contact for stakeholders across different regions, facilitating communication and collaboration

    • Participating in cross-functional meetings and workshops to gather requirements and align solution strategies

    • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams, developers, and administrators across instances

    • Ensuring consistent communication and updates on solution design, progress, and issues across all areas

    • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and unified approach to D365 implementation

    • Being embedded into the wider Investec architecture and engineering communities and informing/ensuring alignment to Investec target architectures and roadmaps

    Qualifications

    • Information Technology Degree or Diploma

    • 5 years or more working with Microsoft D365 configuration

    • 5 years or more of Power Platform experience

    • 2-3 years or more experience as a Power Platform/D365 Solutions Architect or similar

    • Ability to partner across teams effectively

    • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365 standards and best practices

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    • Self-starter with attention to detail and thoroughness
