    Junior Data Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • To provide proactive insight services to stakeholders by delivering prescriptive, predictive, diagnostic, and descriptive analysis of the business.
    • To deliver company KPIs to a cascading dashboard that presents real-time company performance and predicts outcomes to enable better decision-making.
    • To act as an interpreter/educator sitting between stakeholders and data, interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing insight.

    Data Analyst Strategy:

    • To develop a clear understanding of business goals and reporting needs to support effective data-driven decisions.
    • To apply foundational data analysis techniques to enhance reporting speed and support continuous business improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Junior Data Analyst.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
    • Logistics and supply chain experience is advantageous.
    • Strong experience using Power BI to its full capacity across Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, Power BI Admin, and Gateways.
    • Experience working with both front-end and back-end tech teams to deliver projects.
    • A genuine interest in sustainability and a desire to save the planet using technology.
    • A strong background in maths and data manipulation, with an interest in programming techniques.
    • Knowledge of databases and querying using SQL is a plus.
    • Inquisitive about data technologies and technological advances such as relational, NoSQL, graphDB, neural networks, including LLMs.
    • Familiar with Cloud-based data platforms and their advantages.
    • Azure DevOps Boards and Repos.

    Stakeholder Relations:

    • To build strong stakeholder relationships around the business to develop a data strategy for how data will inform key business objectives.
    • To build and maintain trust relationships with the UK, Management Team, key Suppliers, and Customers to ensure business needs are met and employees are self-motivated and driven.
    • To work as part of the team to share ideas and improve operations, contribute to new business initiatives and projects, and review and communicate the impact of Data Analysis activities.
    • To work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key Stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with Data Analysis strategy.

    Health & Safety:

    • To always keep work area clean and tidy.
    • To follow Health & Safety procedures.
    • To report risks and hazards to the Demand and Pricing Manager.
    • To report accidents and incidents immediately to the Demand and Pricing Manager.
