    Description

    This position provides specialized sales and technical support on-site or in the field, focusing on advisory and consulting functions. The role involves developing the Warehouse brand and product lines through market research, sales projections, design efforts, budgets, and promotional campaigns.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to achieve unit sales targets and growth objectives.
    • Provide technical sales support, including pricing and product information, to regional Sales Teams.
    • Drive sales growth and increase market share for the designated brand, overseeing the entire sales process from introducing products to new clients to collaborating with Sales Managers to close deals.
    • Ensure high-quality customer interactions and service by developing strategies for comprehensive coverage of assigned sales territories and fostering client partnerships.
    • Assess personal development needs and address knowledge and skill gaps.
    • Manage financial aspects of deals in accordance with budgetary and company strategic goals.
    • Execute key administrative functions diligently, such as contract delivery and collection.
    • Prepare and deliver reports as required.
    • Uphold customer service standards aligned with the company's vision and values.
    • Contribute responsibly to departmental growth initiatives.
    • Demonstrate capability in developing operational innovations.
    • Travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
    • Acquire proficiency in Production System (TPS) skills and oversee related projects internally and externally.
    • Learn new skills related to A.G.V. technology and manage projects from quotation through commissioning phases.
    • Maintain relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and international partners.

    Job Requirements

    • Matric/Grade 12 qualification
    • National Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering
    • Sales qualifications are an added advantage
    • Minimum 5 years' work experience in material handling or similar industrial equipment
    • Sales environment product knowledge is essential
    • Project Management experience
    • Tech ability to learn software packages related to warehouse optimisation
    • Ability to interpret warehousing design drawings
    • Understanding of safety measures and precautions
    • Team player with effective group dynamics
    • Constructive working relationships with others

    Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
