    Job Summary

    A Pharmacist Assistant is required to provide pharmaceutical care services and perform day-to-day dispensary administration according to company SOPs. The role involves high standards of customer service, efficient stock control, and adherence to operational requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high standards of customer service and care
    • Efficiently manage stock control and repackaging of medicine
    • Administer the dispensary in an efficient manner
    • Offer general health advice to customers
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
    • Perform ad-hoc tasks as per operational requirements

    Requirements:

    • Matric with Mathematics (Essential)
    • Meet the Health Professions Council of South Africa's minimum requirements for Pharmacist Assistants at various levels

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Product knowledge in the health and OTC sections
    • Familiarity with SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Team player with integrity and ethical working practices
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Basic calculations and IT business operating systems
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Adherence to company principles and values
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet customer expectations
