    Job Purpose

    To work with business and projects to identify areas where business processes and performance can be developed or improved.

    The aim is to apply business process principles in the analysis of As Is business operations and the creation of the To Be business operating models and business process artefacts.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Proactive Process Planning: Plan process deliverables based on relevant project delivery methods.
    2. Process Improvement Execution: Design and execute process improvement initiatives, taking responsibility for individual delivery in terms of quality, scope, and time.
    3. As Is and To Be Discovery: Independently participate in discovery, analysis, and design using relevant analysis techniques.
    4. Business Value Assessment: Assist in business value & ROI assessment.
    5. Performance Measurement Implementation: Assist in the implementation of performance measurements.
    6. Process Streamlining and Problem Resolution: Understand process and workflow streamlining, problem resolution, change management, rules capture, and rules coding.
    7. Value Chain Analysis: Contribute to value chain analysis (cross-functional process mapping) and linking business strategy to process architecture.
    8. Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Understand process improvement & Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
    9. Process Measurements: Understand process measurements focusing on what metrics to capture and how to capture them in the process.
    10. Simulation: Understand when and how to use simulation to measure performance improvement.
    11. Change Management: Understand and apply industry and company change management policies and practices to process initiatives.
    12. Facilitation: Understand and utilise facilitation capabilities to plan and manage stakeholder transformation.
    13. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including other Nedbank clusters.
    14. Training Needs Identification: Identify training needs for business operation changes and obtain and schedule training and competency testing.
    15. Communication Planning: Develop communication plans that will facilitate planned changes.
    16. Progress Reporting: Provide progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
    17. BPM Tool Utilisation: Ability to use BPM related tools including project planning and tracking.
    18. BPMS and RPA Tools: Understand how BPMS and RPA tools are used.
    19. Big Data Concepts: Understand big data concepts and how it will be used for research, customer experience management, and information mining.
    20. Data Architectural Understanding: Ability to work with data architects to define data flow, data transformation, interface needs, and sources for all information.
    21. Project Planning Review: Ability to review project plans and help the project manager define technology needs.
    22. Solution Approach Definition: Ability to work with the solution project manager to determine the best approach for the technical support side of a solution.
    23. Nedbank Process Methods: Able to apply Nedbank process methods and practices on process initiatives.
    24. Risk Controls: Understand the required risk controls within the risk appetite within their customer domain.

    Essential Qualifications

    • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Any IT Degree / Industrial Engineering or equivalent
    • Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA)
    • Any Business Analysis Course
    • OMG Certified Expert in Business Process Modeling (OCEB 2)
    • Business Process Management with a certificate
    • Presentation Course
    • Introduction to Business Process Modeling
    • Business Analysis Foundations

    Preferred Qualification (Advantage)

    • Value Chain Analysis
    • Value Stream Mapping
    • Any Business Architecture Certification
    • UML
    • Toastmasters

    Minimum Experience Level

    • 3 - 6 years Management experience of this
    • Demonstrated proficiency of BPM, Change Management, and other methods that are part of a collaborative team. Demonstrated leadership on small-to-medium process and performance improvement engagements
    • Customer Experience (CX) in Industry 4.0
