    Description

    Pastry Chef required to lead bakery team in creating innovative desserts and pastries.

    The ideal candidate will oversee daily pastry preparations, work closely with the Head Chef to develop new menu items, and manage staff and inventory.

    • Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee daily pastry preparations and ensure high-quality products.
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative desserts, pastries, and confectionery items.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest pastry-making techniques, flavors, and trends.
    • Manage staff and inventory to maintain efficient operations.
    • Requirements:
    • Degree or diploma in culinary arts.
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar position.
    • Minimum 1 year's experience in a senior role.
    • Extensive repertoire of pastry and confectionery techniques and trends.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines.
    • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
    • Own transport.
