    HR Manager

    A senior HR professional is required to support the growth and development of a reputable construction company based in East London, Eastern Cape.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Represent the company at BCCEI Bargaining Councils and engage in conciliation and arbitration processes.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation, ensuring compliance with industry and South African legislation.
    • Provide operational staff with guidance on IR and dispute resolution matters.
    • Assist with employee benefits and implementation.
    • Implement and monitor standard recruiting practices and procedures.
    • Support site-based recruitment efforts and conduct onboarding for new employees.
    • Develop and communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Enhance general staff well-being through the Wellness Programme.
    • Coordinate training programs in conjunction with external providers to support skills development needs.
    • Manage administrative functions related to Recruitment and Selection, Induction, and Disciplinary processes.

    Requirements:

    • Higher National Diploma or Degree in HR Management.
    • 5-10 years' experience in a Human Resources Environment.
    • Knowledge and previous experience in BCCEI Main Agreement.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Proficient computer skills.
    • Excellent organizational, time-management, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Proven expertise in HR and IR within the Construction sector.
