Purpose of the Role:


As a member of the Product marketing team, specialising in General Motor Control, Drives, and Motors at ElectroMechanica, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic development, management, and enhancement of our product portfolio in this critical domain.

You will be responsible for driving innovation, overseeing product life cycles, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure our offerings meet and exceed market demands and customer expectations.


Main responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the product strategy/roadmap for Motor Control and Drives, aligning with company objectives and market needs.
  • Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and identify opportunities for new product development or enhancements to existing products and markets
  • Collaborate with enterprise marketing, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Provide guidance to a crossfunctional team, providing clear direction and fostering collaboration to achieve product goals.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on customer feedback, market analysis, and technological advancements.
  • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on product improvements to optimise customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Manage product budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets while ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Essential requirements:


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 35 years of proven experience in product management, preferably in Motor Control, Drives, or related electromechanical products.
  • Strong technical background in motor control systems, drives, and motors, with a solid understanding of industry standards and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching products, from ideation to commercialisation, in a competitive market environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, make datadriven decisions, and solve complex problems.
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, project management, and driving product innovation.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
