Introduction:

We are looking to recruit a permanent Wholesale Operations Manager
- to work for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD). The role will be based at our Lea Glen branch and will report to the General Manager (Inland).


Job description:


  • Job Purpose:
Responsible primarily for the effective and efficient management of the wholesale division, to maximize return on net assets and deliver key objectives in line with the overall business objectives


Key Performance Areas:

  • Responsible primarily for the effective and efficient management of the wholesale division, to maximize return on net assets and deliver key objectives in line with the overall business objectives
  • Ensure the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service and growth goals
  • Coordinate with the UPD managers to maximize turnover of the wholesale function through service excellence (operations and delivery)
  • Optimize stock levels, availability and management
  • Direct operations accountability by coordinating the team to deliver operational efficiency and service levels
  • Cost management, including budgetary alignment and capital expenditure (CAPEX).
  • Management of customer interface; ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Responsible for ensuring security and loss control is in line with company guidelines & policies
  • Effectively manage and develop of staff
  • Establish and deliver on Operational metrics
