Introduction:
We are looking to recruit a permanent Wholesale Operations Manager
- to work for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD). The role will be based at our Lea Glen branch and will report to the General Manager (Inland).
Job description:
- Job Purpose:
Key Performance Areas:
- Responsible primarily for the effective and efficient management of the wholesale division, to maximize return on net assets and deliver key objectives in line with the overall business objectives
- Ensure the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service and growth goals
- Coordinate with the UPD managers to maximize turnover of the wholesale function through service excellence (operations and delivery)
- Optimize stock levels, availability and management
- Direct operations accountability by coordinating the team to deliver operational efficiency and service levels
- Cost management, including budgetary alignment and capital expenditure (CAPEX).
- Management of customer interface; ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth
- Responsible for ensuring security and loss control is in line with company guidelines & policies
- Effectively manage and develop of staff
- Establish and deliver on Operational metrics
