Description

The
Laser Welding and CNC Operator will be responsible for managing and operating the welding and a CNC machine in its entirety.

You will ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the machine as well as ensuring that the finished product of lithium cells into battery modules.

Reporting to the
Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:


Operating, Conducting Tests, Maintenance:

Responsible for daily maintenance of lithium battery module welding equipment.

Responsible for the optimization and replacement of fixture.

Responsible for welding equipment maintenance.

Select proper welding programs, and proper fixtures.

Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.

Assist in the integration, start-up and debug of plant floor welding equipment, including weld controls.

Perform all dimensional inspections.

Regularly conduct tests of the machines performance and operating capacity.

Be able to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.


Reports:

Keep an updated database on all of the machines information, defects and final products.

Maintain a log of the activity.

Regularly submit performance reports.

Planning stock inventory and ordering parts.


Essential Requirements:


  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Technical Diploma.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
  • Robotic welding experience.
  • Experience as a machine operator.
  • Familiar with Omron PLC and basic principle of laser welding.
  • Familiar with HIKVISION software.
  • Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations.
  • No criminal record.
