    About the Role

    We're seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Alternative Asset Services Division, reporting to a Manager within Apex. As Assistant Manager, you will oversee the administration and accounting of a client portfolio, developing and mentoring junior team members while providing exceptional customer service.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Manage a client portfolio, including all aspects of administration and accounting oversight.
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, many of whom are studying towards professional qualifications.
    • Collaborate with the Manager and Director to ensure timely completion of NAVs, management reporting, and statutory reporting for corporate entities.
    • Prepare and implement entity-specific procedures for administration and reporting requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact with auditors, assisting with audit planning and coordination, and running audits for clients.
    • E nsure reporting compliance with entity and statutory requirements, including local laws, GAAP or IFRS, and other relevant principles.
    • Effectively manage client responsibilities.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Professional qualification (CA(S) or equivalent).
    • Minimum one year post-articles experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the fund industry.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering laws.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
    • Motivated and driven individual.
    • Fund-related accounting experience is beneficial.
    • Knowledge of Private Debt, Capital Markets, Real Assets, or Private Equity is highly valued.
