Description

• Manage daytoday operations, including water treatment and distribution, wastewater management, and maintenance.
• Responsible for training and development of Operations staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and costeffectiveness.
• Improve service delivery in water and sanitation activities.
• Manage the operations budget.
• Manage and maintain effective working relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the operations team.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil). Being a professionally registered engineer will be an added advantage.
• At least 10 years' experience in water and sanitation industry, of which 5 years must be at senior management level.
• Proven experience in operations management in the water and sanitation industry.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations.
• In depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices, including hydraulic water treatment, pumping, storage systems and wastewater treatments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
• Adept at managing teams and resources efficiently.
