    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team as a Training Instructor. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of workshop experience and hold a Red Seal certification.

    Responsibilities

    • Training Content Design: Collaborate with the Instructional Design Team to create training materials for designated programs, including Face-to-Face, Virtual Classroom, and Web-Based training formats.
    • Training Delivery: Deliver training sessions as per schedules, using provided information, tools, and materials, and ensure compliance with organisational and statutory policies.
    • Evaluation: Support the training evaluation process, manage course evaluations, and report poor outcomes to the Non-Tech Training Lead.
    • Audits and Housekeeping: Maintain OEM training standards, support Academy audits, and ensure general housekeeping and maintenance of training vehicles and facilities.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional relationships with Dealer Personnel, Suppliers/Service Providers, and preferred Training Bodies.
    • Process Management: Update processes annually to align with the internal Quality Management System and implement continuous improvements to enhance business operations.

    Requirements

    • Qualifications: Red Seal certification as a motor mechanic.
    • Experience: 35 years of workshop experience as a qualified motor mechanic (VW & Audi experience is an advantage).
    • Training Background: Prior training experience.
    • Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Work Style: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
