The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a leading Renewable Energy business.
The business seeks an Investment Manager to join their South African team in either Johannesburg / Cape Town.
The role:
- Help expand the firm's financier clients in southern Africa
- Independently lead pipeline buildout of financier engagements in southern Africa
- Build qualified pipelines of commercial finance transactions in southern Africa distributed energy that would appeal to existing and potential new financiers
- Lead on financing transactions
- Facilitate financiers' screening and due diligence of opportunities
Skills needed:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, or a related field; Masters, CFA, or other relevant industry certifications preferred
- 6+ years in project or corporate finance
- Experience in the renewable energy sector is strongly preferred
- Experience facilitating and/or deploying capital into energy and infrastructure projects
- Ability to review project and company financial models
- Proven ability to lead projects independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
