Applications are invited for the above-mentioned position to be based in the PP&L Department – Dry Goods at Adam Tas, Stellenbosch . The successful candidate will report to the Dry Goods Manager.

Key performance areas include (but are not limited to):

Effective Financial Management:
o Management of Variable Personnel Cost
o Management of Other Variable Running Cost
o Management of Write-off and Loss account
o Management of Waste & Recovery cost

Effective Operations & Risk Management:
o Provide Superior Service Levels to internal and external customers
o Entrench our Supply Chain Excellence Operating Model
o Entrench SOP's and Work Instructions
o Entrench SHERQ Standards and Practises
o Progress World Class Manufacturing Practices
o Effective Management of Dry Goods
o Minimize Slow moving and obsolete Stock
o Progress Stock Control and Accuracy
o Optimize Storage Capacity Utilization
o Efficiently manage MHE Equipment
o Effective supply of Dry Goods to Production

The successful candidate must have the following Qualifications; Knowledge; Attributes & Skills/Experiences:

o A tertiary qualification within the logistics/Warehousing study fields
o 2 – 3years Experience in FMCG environment, at Team Leader / Supervisory Level
o 2 - 3years Experience in working on ERP Suite
o Proficient in MS Office
o Must have Reliable Transport To and From Work
o Working knowledge of SAP-MM
o Must be Willing to Work Overtime and Shifts
o Sound Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
o Ability to manage people
o Sound Communication Skills
o Sound Prioritization and Execution Skills
o Good Team Player
o Able to work under pressure
o Able to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position
