FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Managing maintenance schedules and budgets
  • Delivering planned and plant maintenance.
  • Managing a team of multidisciplined maintenance technicians.
  • Planning, directing and controlling the efforts of the Maintenance Team.
  • Ensuring that all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations.
  • Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Designing maintenance programs.
  • Checking electrical units.
  • Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
  • Plan and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines and the plant continue to run smoothly
  • Modify equipment prototypes, parts, assemblies and systems to correct functional deviations
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Built, calibrate maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve designrelated problems
  • Develop practices and procedures for equipment availability
  • Prepare project cost and worktime estimates.
  • Delegating work responsibilities.
  • Recording daily maintenance activity.
  • Mentoring inexperienced or new employees.
  • Running an efficient repairs reporting system

Tertiary qualification in Engineering:

-
4-5 years' in a similar managerial position:


  • Sound knowledge of the OHS act

Job Types:
