Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Quality Manager to join their dynamic team in East London.


  • Achieve quality management operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, quality and customer service standards; identifying and resolving problems; planning and completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change
  • Meets quality department financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective action, implementing cost saving ideas and train peers in quality awareness
  • Validate quality processes by measuring production quality; documenting evidence; writing and updating quality procedures, Control Plans, FMEA's and process charts.
  • Maintain and improve product quality by responding to internal and external CAR and closing timeously, investigating and collaborating with other members of the management team on product improvement initiatives
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, capability studies, recalls and corrective actions

Job Requirements:


  • NQF 4 qualification + Mechanical or Industrial Engineering/BTech in Quality
  • VDA 6.3 & 6.5 Certificate
  • TS 16949 Certificate (internal audits)
  • ISO 19011 Certified will be advantages
  • Internal & Supplier auditing experience
  • At least 10 years Quality Management experience with a proven track record.
  • Sound practical knowledge of TS 16949; VDA6.3 and ISO 900
  • Fully conversant in APQP, PPAP, PSW, FMEA, Control Plans and G8D
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deal with complexity
