Duties:

Driving:


  • Transporting clients to their various pickups and drop offs;
  • Keeping your vehicle clean and tidy as well as maintained;
  • Adhering to the speed limit.
  • Keep a record of miles travelled.

Remaining Accident Free:


  • Keeping clients safe.
  • Keeping safe following distances.

Time Management:


  • Being punctual for each and every transfer which you are required to do;
  • Transporting clients to their various pickups and drop offs, safely and on time.

Customer Service:


  • Help passengers load and unload their luggage.
  • Ensuring that at all the times are in full uniform when picking and dropping off clients.
  • Drive to passengers destinations.
  • When picking clients at the airport ensure that you use a paging board for all pickups at the airport.
  • Arrive 15 minutes earlier for pickups.

Cashing-up:


  • Ensuring that you deposit the money received from your passenger is banked no later than the following after receiving the cash;
  • Cashingup a at head office once a week on a Monday or Tuesday;
  • Ensuring parking slips are brought to the head office, no older than one week;
  • Collect fares, including allowed extra charges;
  • Provide a receipt to passengers.

Vehicle Management/Operations Management

  • Reporting to the Operations Director of any accidents or vehicle maintenance that is required;
  • Adhering to the company's vehicle policies and procedures at all times.
  • Inspect Vehicles use inspection sheet.
  • Schedule vehicles for service (Authorised by Director)
  • Sending daily report to operations directors.

Core Competency Requirements:


  • Punctual
  • Neat
  • Good communication skills
  • Can speak English fluently
  • Responsible
  • Be able to work long hours, public holidays and weekends when required.

Education:


  • Grade 12 and;
  • Defensive driving;
  • Advantage of advance driving certificate.

Work experience:

  • 3 years chauffer driving;
  • Over 25 years of age;
  • Valid PrdP;
  • Clean criminal record.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Port Elizabeth,

Eastern Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)


License/Certification:

  • Driver's license (required)
  • PrdP (preferred)
