    We are seeking a skilled Cobol developer to join our Core Banking Team at FNB, the home of #changeables.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to implement a program of technology projects that will ensure program goals are accomplished.

    The successful candidate will provide IT expertise, advice, and leadership in the design, creation, testing, and documentation of new and enhanced applications and systems.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Design, create, test, and document new and enhanced applications and systems
    • Assist in the development of IT operational implementation plans and associated IT processes, methods, and techniques
    • Provide IT expertise, advice, and leadership

    Requirements:

    • Cobol programming skills with 5+ years of experience
    • Hogan programming language experience beneficial
    • New program development experience of 4 years
    • Strong programming skills in Cobol
    • Able to follow the flow of programs and identify the function of statements or code associated with programs
    • High accuracy in coding and understanding of record layout from report layout files

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    • At least 5 years of experience in programming and system design
    • Familiarity with one or more programming languages as appropriate for the specific requirements of the department
