    Portfolio Intelligence Analyst

    Company Group Technology provides digitally enabled technology services as a group Centre of Excellence, driving business and transformation while providing group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate various technology platforms and shared services, ensuring Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across the Company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    You will play a critical role in supporting Project Management activities, driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery within an organization.

    1. Customize Jira workflows to meet the needs of various teams and projects.
    2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable project support items.
    3. Conduct training sessions to maximize utilization of project support tools, promoting best practices and efficiency.
    4. Provide technical support to project teams on project support tool utilization.
    5. Create and maintain technical documentation for portfolio support tools and related processes.
    6. Identify opportunities to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance data quality.
    7. Develop and implement best practices, guidelines, and standards for utilizing project support tools.
    8. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
    9. Monitor and analyze usage data to identify improvement opportunities.
    10. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in project support tools.
    11. Assist in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new project support tools.
    12. Configure project support tools such as PPO, Jira, Power BI to meet specific team and portfolio requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Certifications in Jira administration or BI tools are desirable.

    Experience:

    • Project Support Tool Specialist or similar role experience.
    • Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, report development, and data modeling.
    • Customizing project support tools to meet specific requirements.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong technical skills with proficiency in project management software, collaboration platforms, and reporting tools.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication skills for technical concepts and user training.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
