Our Africa team is growing This department is a magnetic team whose main responsibility is to ensure our clients have a fantastic experience booking and traveling to Africa.

The main functions of the Concierge Coordinator role are to assist the team in creating memorable moments for the clients by ensuring all requests and/or inquiries are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Africa Concierge Team by accurately and quickly servicing our client questions and arranging services for travelers (spa accommodations, restaurant reservations, travel connections, etc.)
• Create the client profiles within the company's CRM to ensure each element of the itinerary is accounted for & confirmed
• Manage onground vendor relationships with DMCs, excursion & transfer companies, to communicate upcoming or modified client requests. All requests must be fully prepared and ready for client arrival.
• Clear and consistent communication with our TA clients and our internal Africa Reservation team of any incidents or onground situations in case of emergency events
• Update the WETU platform with any lastminute incountry adjustments
• Responsible for monthly allocation of amenities on bookings, buying in bulk plus managing expenses
• Complete posttrip report to share with the team including traveler feedback & incountry happenings
• Stay up to date with the newest luxury trends within Africa including touring, restaurants, and excursions. Keep the company "fresh".
• Take the initiative to ensure the clients receive the best allaround experience whilst in the country
• Full availability to handle emergency situations outside of "working hours"
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

• Excellent time management, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Self Motivated + Service Driven mentality
• 5+ Prior Years of Luxury Travel experience
• Working knowledge of the tourism landscape in Africa.
• Previous experience with Google Drive (Doc, Sheets, Slides, etc) WETU, and reservation management systems
• Detailoriented, LOVES the small details
