    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced individual to coordinate daily deliveries in the George and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in transport coordination or logistics, excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily deliveries, keeping schedules and booking of all deliveries, liaising with sales staff and satellite branches on all orders/deliveries, fleet management and maintenance, and record-keeping of delivery trip sheets and credit note checks on stock returns and breakages.

    About the Role:

    • Coordinating Daily Deliveries: Coordinate daily deliveries in the George and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    • Schedule Management: Keep schedules and booking of all deliveries, ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
    • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with sales staff and satellite branches on all orders/deliveries, maintaining effective communication and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Fleet Management: Manage and maintain company vehicles, including routine servicing, license renewals, and daily vehicle checks.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of delivery trip sheets, credit note checks on stock returns and breakages, and ensure all invoices are accounted for.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in transport coordination or logistics.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (IQ Retail is beneficial).
    • Knowledge of the local area and road networks is an advantage.

    Estimated Salary: R250,000 - R300,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
