Manage the Payments Innovation team through collaboration with other teams to deliver client centric solutions and influence stakeholders to achieve the best results in alignment with overall strategy
Representing the bank at the Payment Industry meetings
Understanding the strategic priorities and participating in development of business requirements through the correct level of participation internally and in the various industry bodies
Provide the necessary guidance and support to the Payments Business
Guide and manage the continuous process improvement initiatives that will focus on ever increased automation and the reduction of human intervention in the payment related business processes
To manage and ensure relevant documentation is produced i.e. Project scope, definitions, plans, business requirements and functional specifications.
To oversee project meetings, escalations and change control process
To strategically manage and support departments to ensure delivery.
Effectively manage Innovation resources
Ensure system and data analysis practices/standards are defined and deployed.
Ensure operational data capability conforms to best practice standards in the following areas:
Release Management
Change Management and Documentation
Specification documentation (Process, system and data)
Conceptual modelling


Qualifications and Experience:

Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
Attention to detail and the ability to uncover and solve complex problems
Ability to learn and comprehend new system, technical and operational processes
Reliability, flexibility, professional etiquette and sound judgement are important
Willingness to attain product knowledge
Team Player
Provides extraordinary service
Staff Management
Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, project management and matrix management skills are critical
Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal and external business partners
Ability to effectively direct and manage multiple functions
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment
Good people management skills, ability to lead a team
Strong experience as a manager / leader within Payments and/or financial services organisations
