- Optimum Sourcing of IT
- Prepare IT sourcing strategy to ensure operational stability
- Prepare analysis & stats to control & support sourcing strategy & strategic planning
- Cost Management
- Achievement of best possible cost
- Challenge logistics costs through benchmarkings & negotiation
- Vendor Contract Management
- Proactive contract expiry management
- Ensure ontime kickoff of tender process or contract extension
- Ensure Achievement of good governance & Administration
- Ensure SOX compliance and compliance to internal policies and procedures
- Ensure valid BBBEE certificate is in place
- Relevant transport industry certification in place and ensure compliance to any other regulatory requirements
- ISO 14001:2015 & C02 target are met
- Supplier Management
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- NQF 6 Qualification (360 credits on level 8 framework) in Supply Chain Management, or any related qualification
- Minimum of 3 year's related planning / procurement / supply chain experience in a distribution / lean environment
- Supply market knowledge (Understanding of road, rail & local automotive industry is advantageous)
- Good knowledge in contracting
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Analytical, systematic thinking in IT
