    The Procurement Officer is instrumental in managing the end-to-endpurchase order process, from order generation to delivery, ensuring operationalefficiency and effective supply chain management. The role contributes to thesmooth operation of Brenntag South Africa's procurement activities, ensuringthat all purchasing functions support the company's strategic objectives andoperational requirements.

    YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    TechnicalService Management:
    Oversee the execution of Service Level Agreements (SLA), ensuring customer and supplier technical issues are promptly resolved.
    Monitor calls and quality of service, participating in quality assurance calibration to maintain high service standards.
    Teammanagement
    Lead and mentor a team of Field Service Technicians, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
    Plan and distribute technical service tasks among team members, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    Customerservice delivery
    Conduct in-depth analysis of frequent customer complaints develop and implement actionable insights for service improvement.
    EscalationManagement:
    Serve as the first point of contact for complex technical complaints, providing effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
    AccountManagement:
    Oversee themanagement of SLA accounts, including management of overdue payments.

    YOUR PROFILE

    Qualifications & Experience

    Matric
    Tertiary qualification BSC in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Engineering/ Commercial/ Water Treatment
    5 years plus experience in technical sales, specifically within the water treatment industry.
    Proven track record in team leadership and managing technical service operations.
    Demonstrated ability in managing SLAs and customer relationships.
    Working knowledge of boilers/ cooling towers/ wastewater treatment systems
    Experience managing complex and/or significant customer relationships and key accounts.
    Experience with CRM and MS Office]
    SAP knowledge advantageous
    Valid driver'sLicense and own vehicle
