    Description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Capture weekly and monthly hours on Sage 300 People.
    • Calculate and monitor overtime per department.
    • Submit accurate month end reports from Sage 300 People.
    • EEA and Skills Development WSP & ATR submissions are required.
    • Capture leave, sick leave & family responsibility leave on Sage 300 People.
    • Export hours from Biometrix system and balance hours on Sage 300 People.
    • E nsure that hours and shifts are correctly allocated on the Biometrix system.
    • Liaise with HODs on employee shift allocation roster.
    • Meticulous in capturing Employees' gradings/rate of pay on Sage 300 People.
    • Capture new employee profiles.
    • Capture changes on employees' personal information.
    • Calculate employees' leave & bonus payments according to MEIBC Main Agreement.
    • Capture terminated employees.
    • Issue terminated employees with termination documents as per MIBFA & DOL.
    • RMA: Capture RMD 5 and SOEs on RMA Portal.
    • Load employees' personal information and qualifications on Sage 300 People.

    Desired Qualifications & Experience

    A minimum of 5 years experience as payroll administrator on Sage 300 People is required.

    Experience with weekly & monthly payrolls for 300 plus shift working employees is essential.

    Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of Vlookup and pivot tables, are necessary.

    A post-matric qualification/diploma/Certificate in Payroll administration, preferably in Sage 300 People, is required.

    The ideal candidate must be deadline driven.

    Knowledge of the difference between MEIBC vs BCEA is crucial.

    Experience with MERSETA submissions would be advantageous.

    Experienced with Biometrix systems is a requirement.

    Experience in capturing IODs on RMA System is necessary.

    The ability to work under pressure is essential.
