    Job Location: Sekhukhune, South Africa

    The Area Business Manager will oversee sales, collections, and distribution operations in assigned areas for direct Sun King Solar product distribution on a Pay-As-You-Basis through Energy Officers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Hire and retain Energy Officers to recruit, train, and manage at least 40 representatives.
    • Train Energy Officers on sales, collections, product knowledge, inventory management, logistics, and customer service.
    • Define daily tasks, sales targets, routes, and responsibilities for Energy Officers.
    • Conduct weekly field visits with Energy Officers, address issues, and report to the Regional Manager.
    • Work closely with Energy Officers to perform joint activities, provide ongoing training, and promote community engagement.
    • Achieve or surpass monthly sales and collection targets set by the Regional Manager.
    • Monitor competitors and market trends to protect and grow Sun King's market share.
    • Provide excellent after-sales support, resolve customer issues within 24 hours, and work with officers to maintain high standards.
    • Manage marketing materials and equipment to ensure cost-effective use of resources.

    You May Be a Strong Candidate If:

    • You have a degree in Business or a related field and at least three years of sales experience.
    • You possess strong computer skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • You have extensive customer care experience.
    • You are innovative, think creatively, and skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and strategic thinking.
    • You build strong relationships internally and externally, listen well, coach others, and demonstrate operational excellence.
