PURPOSE:


To ensure that all business processes are risk-management compliant, assessing certain areas for compliance with relevant laws and evaluating how effective this department has been at implementing its controls into practices.


Key responsibilities:


  • Full internal Audit function from planning to execution;
  • Risk assessments and evaluating compliance with internal controls;
  • Implementing controls;
  • Conducting audit testing of specified processes for adequacy and effectiveness;
  • Recording of deviations, compiling findings, root causes and potential effects;
  • Compile final audit reports, with recommendations to management

The successful individual will have:

Accounting degree

Internal Auditor Certification (CIA or CA (SA)

  • 5 Years experience in internal auditing, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment
3 years experience on SAP

**_Must be willing to relocate if outbound_
