    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • First-Line IT Support: Be the primary point of contact for user issues, resolving them promptly and efficiently.
    • Helpdesk Hero: Manage the IT Helpdesk, ensuring incidents are logged, tracked, and resolved quickly.
    • Device Doctor: Set up and support computers, notebooks, tablets, and mobile phones, providing expert technical assistance.
    • Office 365 Ace: Master the use of Office 365 and Microsoft platforms, empowering users and maximizing productivity.
    • Network Ninja: Monitor network performance, identifying and resolving issues before they become problems.
    • Asset Avenger: Maintain accurate records of IT resources, ensuring inventory management is up-to-date.
    • Software Sleuth: Investigate software reliability issues, reducing downtime and maintaining system stability.
    • Security Sentinel: Ensure Windows Server security compliance, performing regular audits and updates.

    You must demonstrate how you can apply key competencies such as driving excellence, business focus, innovation, building partnerships, and effective communication in a work context.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Certification: Diploma in Information Technology (NQF Level 5) preferred.

    Experience:

    • Technical Background: 3-5 years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Desktop Support.
    • Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365 Cloud Administration, Endpoint Manager, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Hyper V, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Veeam Backup, and basic VOIP skills.
    • Knowledge: Wireless networks, routing, switching, and VLANs.

    Technical Skills:

    • Complex Issue Resolution: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues using systematic troubleshooting approaches.
    • Windows Server Management: Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, including user account management and policy configuration.
    • Office 365 Expertise: Proficiency in Office 365 and Microsoft platforms, including user access management and platform optimization.
    • Network Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve network connectivity and performance issues, and proactively monitor network health.
    • Hardware and Software Support: Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various devices and software applications.
