Operations and Events Coordinator
We are currently looking for proactive, organized and good communication skills operations and Events coordinator (Experience in the role will be given preference)
Responsibilities:
Understand requirements for each event
Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints
Manage all event operations Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
Handling quotations and invoicing.
Assisting clients with mock ups and client requests
Outsourcing missing items needed for hiring
Signing off on dispatched and returned items
Managing company inventory, breakages, equipment
Liaising and negotiating with clients.
Manager the driver, administrator and other employees
Updating senior management on orders.
Handling post-event reports.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as event coordinator or admin
A proven track record of organizing successful events
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent vendor management skills
Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
Able to handle stress and remain calm
Problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and administration skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary:
From R5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Code 14 (preferred)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
