    Job Title: Showroom Manager

    Location: Umhlanga Showroom

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Showroom Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, maintaining the showroom's image and operations, and driving sales.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and drive sales, providing excellent customer service and promoting the brand and products in line with the brand strategy.
    • Built productive relationships with customers, including those of sales consultants, and resolve any issues or queries promptly and courteously.
    • SUPPORT SALES CONSULTANTS BY PROVIDING CUTTINGS AND SAMPLES UPON REQUEST AND DEALT WITH QUERIES PROMPTLY.
    • MANAGE SHOWROOM IMAGE AND STOCK ACCORDING TO VISUAL STANDARDS, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES, INCLUDING BRAND AND IMAGE REFLECTION, MERCHANDISING STANDARDS, AND STOCK MANAGEMENT.
    • MANAGE SHOWROOM FACILITIES AND ENVIRONMENT, INCLUDING DAILY OPENINGS AND LOCK-UPS, MAINTENANCE CHECKS, CLEANING AND HYGIENE SERVICES, AND EQUIPMENT SERVICING.
    • MANAGE AND DEVELOP SHOWROOM STAFF, INCLUDING RETENTION, RECRUITMENT, TEAM MEETINGS, COMPANY COMMUNICATION, EMPLOYEE COACHING, AND PERFORMANCE FEEDBACK.
    • CORRELATE PAYMENT COLLECTION, ACCOUNT QUERIES, PAYMENT FOLLOW-UP, INVOICING, AND CASH HANDLING.
    • MANAGE COSTS AGAINST APPROVED BUDGET, INCLUDING EXPENDITURE ALIGNMENT, COST CONTROL MECHANISMS, PETTY CASH MANAGEMENT, AND RECONCILIATION.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • National senior certificate.
    • At least 3 years of sales and managerial experience in a retail environment, with experience working on point-of-sale.
    • Knowledge of homeware is advantageous.
    • Experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
    • CUSTOMER SERVICE-FOCUSED AND ORIENTATED.
    • Highly sales-driven and focused on achieving results.
    • Must be professional and well-presented.
