    Description

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Systems Administrator to oversee the maintenance upgrade and management of our diverse growing infrastructure environment. This individual will be responsible for exploring evaluating and implementing new software tools and technologies to automate simplify and achieve strategic goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Installation configuration monitoring and maintenance of server software and hardware.
    2. User group management.
    3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and outages.
    4. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
    5. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments.
    6. Maintain documentation of implemented systems and processes.
    7. Serve as an infrastructure level escalation point for technical support.
    8. Ongoing training of support staff on new technologies and processes.
    9. Test and implement new software tools and technology.

    Requirements

    1. Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
    2. 3-5 Years Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
    3. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization e.g Docker Kubernetes.
    4. Strong scripting skills e.g Bash Python Perl or other languages.
    5. Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools e.g Ansible Puppet Terraform.
    6. VMware knowledge and experience.
    7. Experience with databases networks LAN WAN and patch management.
    8. Knowledge of system security and data backup recovery.
    9. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
    10. Excellent communication skills.
