As a Floor Manager at Prashad Cafe, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Rondebosch or Constantia branch.

You will be responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our guests receive impeccable service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management:Supervise and train the staff. Set performance standards, provide ongoing feedback, and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Guest Experience:Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience at Prashad. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly.

• Floor Operations: Oversee the daytoday operations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Scheduling:Create and manage staff schedules for day-to-day service and special events.

Quality Control:Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion sizes to ensure consistency and adherence to restaurant standards.

Inventory Management:Assist in managing inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, including glassware, utensils, and linens. Coordinate with the management team to order supplies as needed.

Training and Development:Continuously train and develop front-of-house staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training on new procedures, and address any issues or concerns.


Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of restaurant systems and computer skills

Salary:
From R12 500,00 per month
