    Description

    Job Title: Aerospace Process Engineer

    Summary:

    We seek an experienced Aerospace Process Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in the mining, chemical, or industrial manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing processes that improve the efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability of production operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing and mining processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Continuously monitor and analyze process performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Diagnose and resolve operational issues, ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems and processes.
    • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance staff, to ensure process optimization and problem resolution.
    • Ensure all processes comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, minimizing risks and maximizing production output.
    • Lead and participate in process improvement projects, coordinating with teams to ensure timely and effective execution.
    • Identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in process operations.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a Process Engineer within the mining, chemical, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
    • Strong background in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
    • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) is a plus.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex operational issues and improve process efficiency.
    • In-depth understanding of process engineering standards, health and safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
    • Excellent communication skills for liaising with cross-functional teams and reporting on process performance.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, making sound decisions and prioritizing tasks effectively.

    Education:

    • Required: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
    • Preferred: Master's degree or additional certifications in Process Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

    Salary: Estimated salary range $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
